Our structures
Hop Basel ist ein Verein mit Vorstand, Gebetshaus- und Bereichsleitung. Während sich der Vorstand um die Geschicke des gesamten Vereins kümmert, realisiert die Gebetshaus- und Bereichsleitung mit über 100 ehrenamtlichen Mitarbeitenden die Vision und Umsetzung von Anbetung und Gebet. Es begeistert uns besonders, dass wir aus über 20 verschiedenen christlichen Gemeinden und Werken der Region zusammenfinden, um Gott anzubeten.

Taste and see that the Lord is good. What inspires me most is that this can be experienced both in the prayer room and in the cafeteria over a cup of coffee and a lovingly prepared meal in fellowship with people.
To know, worship and love God is our eternal destiny. To do this together in hop, experiencing God's presence and His hand, is my passion and a foretaste of heaven.

Music is one of God's love languages. When I sing and play for Him and give myself to Him, space is created for heart-to-heart encounters with the Father, in which I also want to take others with me.
"My passion is to worship and honor Jesus, whether as a musician or technician. With excellent sound and a pleasant atmosphere I love to support the worship team and the visitors."
Den Dienst im hop sehe ich als Teil meiner Berufung. Mir liegt es am Herzen, das hop mit Gesang und Musik dort zu unterstützen, wo es Hilfe benötigt. Ich leite ein Anbetungsteam und als Sängerin bin ich in verschiedenen Teams engagiert.

Claudia und Bernhard Mössner lernten sich in einem christlichen Werk kennen, wo sie ihr Leben mit Hilfsbedürftigen geteilt und Hilfsgüter und das Evangelium in die Mongolei gebracht haben. Nach ihrer Heirat kamen sie in die Schweiz und wurden Teil der Gemeindeleitung der Oikos International Church, bis sie von derselben Gemeinde freigesetzt wurden, ihre im Jahr 2007 erhaltene Vision umzusetzen. Im Januar 2012 konnten in den eigens dafür erstandenen Räumlichkeiten an der Margarethenstrasse das hop Basel eröffnet werden.
Nach intensiven Jahren der Pionierphase und des Aufbaus als Gründer und Hauptleiter kam es langsam zu einem Loslassen und Übergeben der Leitungsverantwortung an ein Leiterteam. Im Sommer 2026 haben sich Claudia und Bernhard entschieden, alle Leitungsfunktionen niederzulegen.
Sie sind weiterhin mit dem Gebetshaus verbunden und freuen sich, die Zeiten im Gebetshaus ohne Verantwortung geniessen zu dürfen.

Claudia und Bernhard Mössner haben sich in einem christlichen Werk kennen gelernt, wo sie ihr Leben mit Hilfsbedürftigen geteilt und Hilfsgüter und das Evangelium in die Mongolei gebracht haben. Zurück in der Schweiz waren sie Teil einer Gemeindeleitung bis sie von derselben Gemeinde freigesetzt wurden, ihre erhaltene Vision umzusetzen. Seit der Eröffnung des hop Basel im Jahr 2011 sind sie mit ihren Kindern Teil der Hausgemeinschaft des Gebetshauses.
