Our structures
Hop Basel is an association with a board of directors, an operational management and a divisional management. While the board takes care of the overarching direction of the entire association, the operational and divisional management works to further the vision of "day and night worship" with over 100 volunteers. We are especially happy to come together from over 20 different Christian churches and ministries in the region to worship God.
Founding Couple
Claudia und Bernhard Mössner haben sich in einem christlichen Werk kennen gelernt, wo sie ihr Leben mit Hilfsbedürftigen geteilt und Hilfsgüter und das Evangelium in die Mongolei gebracht haben. Zurück in der Schweiz waren sie Teil einer Gemeindeleitung bis sie von derselben Gemeinde freigesetzt wurden, ihre erhaltene Vision umzusetzen. Seit der Eröffnung des hop Basel im Jahr 2011 sind sie mit ihren Kindern Teil der Hausgemeinschaft des Gebetshauses.

Taste and see that the Lord is good. What inspires me most is that this can be experienced both in the prayer room and in the cafeteria over a cup of coffee and a lovingly prepared meal in fellowship with people.
To know, worship and love God is our eternal destiny. To do this together in hop, experiencing God's presence and His hand, is my passion and a foretaste of heaven.
To together create a place of encounter with God is a huge privilege and a great passion of mine.

Music is one of God's love languages. When I sing and play for Him and give myself to Him, space is created for heart-to-heart encounters with the Father, in which I also want to take others with me.
God dwells in the praises of His people. The more we create the space for His presence in our worship, the more we will experience healing and change within us, among us, and around us.
God is the source of all hope and inspiration. I love it when new ideas and projects arise from communion with Him.
I see the ministry in the hop as part of my calling. It is close to my heart to support the hop where it needs help. At the moment I serve in the areas of worship, room responsibility and cleaning.

Wie auch viele aus der Gesamtleitung haben sich Stephanie Weber und Andrea Vökt dafür entschieden, diesen Schritt zu wagen und sind daran einen Spenderkreis aufzubauen, um ihre Berufung und Leidenschaft leben zu können.
